Puncture-resistant is not puncture-proof.  Puncture-resistance and needlestick-resistance are not equivalent features.  Puncture-resistant ratings do not offer any indication of needlestick-resistance.  The PPG2 gloves offer increased puncture-resistance at the fingertips. Resistance data is captured in a controlled laboratory setting.
